Daily Update May 12th, 2017

Tampa Bay Rays – Rays (17-20) fall 6-0 to the Kansas City Royals (13-21) yesterday in Tampa. Game recap from MLB.com here! The Rays now head to Boston for a 3 game weekend series with the Red Sox (18-16), with game 1 today at 7:10pm. The game will be on Fox Sports Sun, game preview here!

Orlando Magic – The Magic interviewed a couple of players at the NBA Draft Combine yesterday including North Carolina’s Justin Jackson. OrlandoSentinel.com article by Josh Robbins covering the Magic’s day can be read here!

Florida Fire Frogs – The Fire Frogs (18-17) beat the Lakeland Flying Tigers (16-19) 7-5 in Lakeland on Thursday. Game recap here! The two teams play again today in Lakeland at 6:30pm, live streaming audio will be available here!

E-Sports – CEO has announced that the 2017 CEO Fighting Game Championships (June 16-18) will be the last year the event will be held in Orlando. The event will move to Daytona Beach starting in 2018, coverage from bizjournals.com here!

UCF Baseball – UCF (34-15) are in Cincinnati to take on the Bearcats (26-23) in a three-game series this weekend, with game 1 today at 6:30pm, the game will be broadcast on 96.9 The Game. Series preview available here!

UCF Men’s Tennis – The Knights (#28) take on Louisville (42) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at Ohio State today. Preview from ucfknights.com here!

UCF Women’s Track and Field – The Knights take part in the 2017 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship starting today. Preview from ucfknights.com here!

Rollin’s College Baseball – The Tars (27-21) lost to the Tampa Spartans (35-12) in Tampa yesterday. Game recap from rollinssports.com here! Today the two teams will play a doubleheader, with game 1 at noon in Tampa.

Rollin’s College Sports – Men’s Rowing and Women’s Rowing will both compete in the Dad Vail Championships in Philadelphia starting today, live coverage will be available here!  Meanwhile the Women’s Lacrosse team will compete in the NCAA Tournament starting today.
